Abbie’s passion: helping parents and kids reach their goals while finding joy

Spanish

Abbie grew up listening to her Mexican grandmother speak in Spanglish and grew up traveling in Mexico. As a child, she knew she would grow to be bilingual. She had no idea she would end up becoming a Spanish teacher.

She began teaching non-credit Spanish courses in college after a one-year exchange program in Guanajuato, Mexico, where she took university courses in Spanish. She has traveled to Peru, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, and Spain. Her childhood in Texas exposed her to many Spanish-speaking cultures. She holds a California teaching credential for grades K-5 and owned and ran a preschool.
